Well, like I predicted earlier, it happened. We're even I guess. I can't wait to see the Pats fans I know. I'm lost for words right now. Let me just savor this moment a little bit longer. Wait, I have a whole year to soak it all in. Well, New England you made for a spectacular season with a thrilling ending. But sooner or later there'd be a way to stop those hail mary bombs to Moss that you've been getting away with all season long. Maybe next year you could try again for the 19-0. That'll be fun to watch.

Another epic New York/Boston sports collision will end with the Giants avenging the loss of their pinstriped comrades... posted on 01/30/2008

I was watching a sports highlights show recently, and saw Coach Tom Coughlin call his Giants the team of destiny. Huh? I thought all along it was the Patriots and their pursuit of perfection deservant of the "Team of Destiny" moniker. I rethought the situation and the words of Coughlin and came to the conclusion that he is right. The Giants are the team of destiny.

The Patriots were expected to win since every game in the regular season after their victory over the Colts. I spent the rest of the season waiting for the AFC championship game where they would to fall to Indy, but I guess the Chargers had something to say about that. So now its a different Manning that must put an end to this pursuit of perfection. Two of the Pats' closest games came when pitted against the brothers' Manning. The destiny will be fulfilled, a Manning will serve as the David to the Goliath juggernaut of New England.
