Who am I?
I'm a lifelong New Yorker who bleeds blue. Whether it's the Giants, Knicks, Yankees or Rangers, I'm pretty much a hemophiliac. Most New York fans have this "what have you done for me lately?" mentality, but not me. I still appreciate what Plaxico Burress did for the Giants; I've never booed A-Rod; I'll never stop loving going to Knicks games and my love for the post-strike hockey era is gradually increasing. Honestly, I'll never understand why fans consistently boo their own players for not performing well. Look, if you want to boo Charlie Ward for being a Jew-hater, I'll give you that. But to boo classy players who bust it day in and day out is pathetic, and it's a stigma on New York fans that I don't appreciate, but will always have to deal with.
